Al Sharq Hospital conducted “Grand Rounds in Medicine” CME at the hospital premises on June 28th. The CME was accredited by MOH for 4 CME hours, where it outlined 7 topics:

– Primary Glomerular Disease

– MI burden and Latest Update in Management

– Practical Approach for STEMI

– Diabetic Nephropathy

– Clinical Practice Guidelines for Hypothyroidism

– Asthma Better Control

– Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH)

These topics were delivered by Al Sharq Hospital high profile consultants and specialists from different departments. Continuous education and professional development are one of the top priorities of Al Sharq Hospital, with the aim of keeping the medical professionals of the community up-to-date and helping them to improve the care they provide to their patients.

More than 120 community doctors, nurses and technicians attended the CME from various hospitals and medical centers in Fujairah and the East Coast of UAE.
