As a part of expansion, Gulf Petrol Supplies LLC (Bunkers) has bought the 2nd bunker barge FNSA 11. The new barge will be able to carry 6,200 metric tons of intermediate fuel oil (IFO) which is more than the existing FNSA 10 (capacity of 5,200 MT of IFO). According to Mr. Basheer Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer, GPS (Bunkers) has the vision of adding more barges to cater additional volumes and become cost effective. Mr. Basheer Ahmed extended his Congratulations to H.H. Sheikh Saleh Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Chairman Fujairah National Group, for the inclusion of FNSA 11 and humbly thanked him for his advice and support. GPS (Bunkers) is owned by Fujairah National Group, which operates across a range of industries, including oil storage.
