  • Covid-19 Vaccine Awareness Drive

    Fujairah National Group, in collaboration with Al Sharq Hospital, organized an awareness drive for Covid-19 Vaccine for FNG Head Office employees on January 11th & 12th, to support the national efforts to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus, which requires us all to intensify efforts to achieve it, and to encourage employees to take the vaccine that will contribute to reducing the number of infected people and to control epidemic. Dr. Anup Poddar, Head of laboratory in Al Sharq Hospital, presented all information and facts about the vaccine issued by MOHAP, with an emphasis on the importance of continuing the adherence to preventive measures such as wearing masks, physical distancing and washing hands even after getting jab. The management of Fujairah National Group affirmed its keenness to provide a safe and healthy environment for its employees, through a series of procedures that have been developed and applied since the beginning of this pandemic. Al Sharq Hospital, part of Fujairah National Group, is offering the Sinopharm Covid-19 Vaccine and PCR tests in a separate facility that has been designated to offer these two services only for the safety of the hospital’s inpatients and outpatients.

  • Diyar Schools Achieved AIAA

    Diyar International Private Schools, Fujairah and Dibba have achieved The American International Accreditation Association of Schools & Colleges (AIAA) for successfully maintaining an effective educational program and for exceeding standards considered essential for quality education. The accreditation is granted for both schools for grades KG to 12. Ms. Christine Simmonds- CEO said: “By November we had submitted all evidence to support our application and following the AIAA evaluation visit, have now gained accreditation which will help our students access the best universities worldwide. The end result was exactly as we had hoped, planned and work towards. The process our teams went through with the AIAA evaluators was invaluable. Even during a time of high pressure, arising from demands placed on our teams by the combination of distance and in-school learning, every single team member, including students, collaborated superbly to ensure total success”.   • Flag Day Celebration at FNG

    Fujairah National Group joined the nation-wide celebrations of UAE Flag Day which embodies the meaning of unity and solidarity among the people of the UAE and its wise leadership. The Flag Day is marked every year on 3rd November, with a flag raising ceremony to mark the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's ascension to the UAE Presidency. The flag hoisting ceremony took place at FNG HO, in the presence and participation of a limited number of FNG managers and employees, and all precautionary measures, including social distancing, were taken.

    Al Sharq Hospital celebrated the UAE Flag Day today morning at 11:00 am which coincided with the anniversary of the accession of His Highness His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as President of the UAE. Dr. Stuart Bennett - CEO of Al Sharq Healthcare participated in the flag hoisting ceremony, along with a limited number of the medical and administrative staff with the implement of COVID-19 safety measures.

  • Fujairah Municipality Virtual Summer Camp

    Al Sharq Hospital participated in Fujairah Municipality Virtual Summer Camp through providing an awareness lecture to the Municipality employees’ children on August 12th, 2020. Our physician Dr. Fadia Emdookh presented the online lecture, where she spoke about the appropriate precautions to protect themselves and others from COVID-19. Dr. Fadia also demonstrated the proper and effective steps of handwashing.
