    Al Sharq Hospital has been successfully re-accredited by the Joint Commission International for healthcare organizations (JCI), where it received The Gold Seal of Approval as JCI-accredited entity on 29th February 2020.   • Al Sharq Hospital at the Keralite Community Event

    Al Sharq Hospital has sponsored and provided the medical support to the Keralite Community event which took place at Madhab Park – Fujairah on 31st Jan 2020. The event was attended and participated by over 1000 families. Al Sharq Hospital medical team conducted free medical checkups for the participants which included: Blood Sugar checkup, Blood Pressure and BMI measurement. Our physician Dr. Pratap Bordawekar gave on-the-spot consultation to participants.

  • Arab Health 2020

    Al Sharq Hospital is participating in Arab Health 2020 Exhibition, the largest healthcare event in the MENA region, at Dubai World Trade Centre from 27th – 30th January. Arab Health is hosting more than 4,250 exhibiting companies this year; where it is creating a great opportunity for Al Sharq Hospital to showcase its advanced technology in healthcare sector, and to network with service providers, medical practitioners and business developers. The management of Al Sharq Hospital is focusing on exploring the latest innovations and developments during the exhibition to maintain providing the updated highest quality services for the community.

  • Al Sharq Baby Day Workshop

    For the second time in a row, Al Sharq Hospital organized “Al Sharq Baby Day” workshop for the expecting mothers on 25th January 2020. Department of Obs & Gynae doctors discussed prenatal and postnatal healthcare including: pain management options, normal and cesarean delivery, breastfeeding, and father’s role during & after pregnancy. The free workshop also included pregnancy diet and nutrition, and practical training of first aid for baby resuscitation and choking. The workshop was followed by a tour in the hospital , lunch and special giveaways for attendees. It has been an overwhelming session and the attendees (expecting mothers with their husband) has benefited from the training and shared their gesture of conducting this special informative session regularly.

  • Free Medical Campaigns at Fujairah Mall and Lulu Mall

    As part of its corporate social responsibility and community engagement, Al Sharq Hospital organized free medical campaign at Fujairah Mall and Lulu Mall on 19th & 20th December 2019. The campaign included free medical checkups for the malls visitors to test their blood pressure, blood sugar, and to conduct BMI measurement. It also included free medical consultation which was offered by Al Sharq Hospital physicians over the two-day event.

    Al Sharq Hospital organized Al Sharq Healthcare Year End Party 2019 at the hospital on Wednesday 18 December 2019. The healthcare staff gathered in a joyful atmosphere, where the management gave a motivational speech, addressed the accomplishments and welcomed the new employees. The management also rewarded outstanding employees as recognition of their excellent performance this year. The event comes in line with the management desire to enhance teamwork and build stronger employee loyalty.

Al Sharq Hospital organized Blood Donation Campaign

Al Sharq Hospital organized Blood Donation Campaign in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Fujairah Hospital and Blood Transfusion and Research Centre in Sharjah on 11th December 2019 at the hospital premises. This campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation. “Donate Blood Save Life” one donation can potentially save three lives in urgent need of blood. Donating blood is good for the health of donors as well, it stimulates the heart muscle and blood circulation, which helps reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke among the donors, in addition to reducing blood pressure and other health benefits.
